Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Denlo handles, why we handle it, and the choices available to you.

Effective 25 August 2026

1. Scope and who we are

Denlo is provided by CENDRO LABS PTY LTD, an Australian company (“Cendro”, “Denlo”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy applies to the Denlo iPhone app, denlo.app, and related services.

For privacy questions, access or correction requests, complaints, or deletion requests, contact support@denlo.app.

2. Information we collect

Account information

When you use Sign in with Apple, we receive an Apple account identifier and, if you share them, your name and email address. Apple may provide a private relay email address if you use Hide My Email.

Profile and content

We process your account display name, topics, intended audience, voice recordings, typed thoughts, transcripts, edits, selected styles, generated posts, and related job information needed to provide Denlo. Exported images and PDFs are created on your device.

Technical information

We process session identifiers, request status, error information, and limited AI usage metadata needed to secure, operate, troubleshoot, and understand service reliability. These usage records do not include your source text, transcript, generated content, or provider error messages.

Website

denlo.app does not use analytics, advertising trackers, contact forms, or non-essential cookies. Our hosting provider may process standard network and security logs when you visit.

3. How we use information

  • create and maintain your account;
  • transcribe recordings and generate platform-specific content;
  • restore your profile and serve your Library requests;
  • secure Denlo, prevent misuse, diagnose failures, and provide support;
  • comply with law and enforce our terms; and
  • improve reliability using limited, content-free operational metadata.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not use your content for advertising, and Cendro does not use your content to train AI models.

4. AI processing

Denlo sends recordings, transcripts, relevant profile context, and generated drafts to OpenAI’s API for transcription and content generation. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default unless the customer opts in. OpenAI may retain abuse-monitoring logs containing customer content for up to 30 days unless a different control applies or longer retention is legally required.

AI tools propose content but do not make legal, employment, credit, health, or other decisions that determine your rights or access to essential services. Review every result before publishing it.

5. When we share information

  • OpenAI processes recordings and text for transcription and generation.
  • Cloudflare provides hosting, private storage, workflows, security, and database infrastructure.
  • Apple provides Sign in with Apple and the iOS platform.
  • Advisers and authorities may receive information where reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect rights and safety.
  • A successor organisation may receive information in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale, subject to appropriate protections.

We do not connect to or publish directly into your social media accounts. When you share to another platform, that platform handles information under its own policies.

6. Overseas processing

Denlo is operated from Australia. OpenAI, Cloudflare, Apple, and their subprocessors may process or store information outside Australia, including in the United States and other locations where they operate. We take reasonable steps to select providers and arrangements that protect personal information in line with applicable Australian privacy requirements.

7. Retention and deletion

Uploaded voice audio is deleted from Denlo’s server storage after its transcript is saved. A recording may remain in your on-device Library until you remove it or delete local app data.

Account information, profile context, typed thoughts, transcripts, generated content, and related records are generally retained while your account remains active. Limited records may be kept longer where reasonably necessary for security, disputes, legal compliance, or legal claims.

Initiate deletion in Account & Settings → Delete account. This removes the Denlo account and associated server-side content unless law requires us to retain specific information. You may also contact support@denlo.app for help.

8. Your choices and rights

You may ask to access or correct personal information, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a complaint. You can edit your profile, type instead of granting microphone access, sign out, or delete your account. We may verify your identity before acting on a request.

9. Security

We use measures designed to protect information, including Sign in with Apple, short-lived sessions, private storage, encrypted transport, scoped upload links, and deletion of processed server audio. No service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

Denlo is not directed to people under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a person under 16 has provided information.

11. Changes and complaints

We may update this policy when features, providers, or obligations change. We will publish the revised policy and effective date here. Send complaints to support@denlo.app. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
